Jason M. Kleinman is an associate who focuses predominantly on representing victims of medical negligence and catastrophic injuries. He has co-tried numerous cases, including, but not limited to, a construction negligence case that resulted in a $2.1 million verdict, and medical malpractice cases that resulted in $4.9 and $4.1 million verdicts.  Mr. Kleinman has also been instrumental in helping obtain substantial settlements for clients.  Most recently, he assisted in the settlement of a medical malpractice case for $4.5 million and a $3 million products liability case.

Mr. Kleinman holds a J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Illinois. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.  He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association, where he serves on the Civil Practice Committee, and as the committee’s Legislative Liaison.  Mr. Kleinman has also been a facilitator for two ethics/professionalism seminars conducted by the Chicago Bar Association.


Lyle K. Henretty earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Michigan.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.  . He also has extensive experience in the public sector, having interned in both the Michigan Attorney General’s Child Support Collections Division and at the St. Louis Public Defender’s Office.

A member of the American Bar Association, Mr. Henretty has assisted the partners of the firm on numerous cases, including a medical malpractice settlement for $1.5 million and a $1.29 million construction litigation settlement.
